During my internship at the studio of Seamus Kowarzik in Berlin, Germany, I was ask to create two chairs to complete the TO01 brace series. It was based on the office table that was specially design for the studio by Seamus himself, which consist of two boards, each composed of two solid mahogany planks. Two pairs of legs attach to each end of the table, connected by a crossmenber. The legs and cross member have the same width giving a uniform and harmonious appearance, these have the same width as the table legs.

Based on these criteria I helped creating a chair and a lounge chair with the same material and design aspects. I had the opportunity to make both chairs by hand in the workshop of the studio out of mahogany wood.
